The kids school has a great tradition of celebrating flag day. Each grade prepares a song or poem to share with the rest of the school. It is so much fun to see all the kids in red, white and blue as they participate in the fun day. I was so glad to have all 3 older kids at the same program. That doesn't happen very often!
Gabriella thinks she is one of the big kids and usually insists on wearing one of their backpacks to school each day.

Lachlan and I both miss Brewerton Elem. The school here is just not as fun and does not have as many interactive activities. Lachlan constantly says he misses his school in NY. I am glad the kids are doing so well.
They still do Flag Day at Brewerton Elementary?! Wow. I remember those events so vividly. I think they still have a few of the old teachers, too-- Mrs. Fleury was my brother's Second Grade teacher way back in the 70s....
I lived in Brewerton for a few years, attended the school there. Brings back memories, it does!
